Simone Biles has revealed the eye-watering amount she spent on a glam squad to attend a recent red carpet event.
The most decorated American Olympic gymnast, 29, spoke candidly about the exorbitant five-figure total in a new TikTok video.
“I just recently had a red carpet event with the stylist fee, hair and makeup team — my grand total,” Biles began, asking if anyone had any guesses. “Probably higher than what you’re thinking. Keep going. Yeah, $22,000. Actually $23,000.”
Adding that she has been “spiraling” since the event, she begged fellow celebrities, athletes and influencers to let her know in the comments if that pricetag was “normal.”
“I just wanna know, is that f***ing normal?” Biles said. “But baby, if that’s normal — and I get inflation, I get prices these days have gone up — but if that’s the new norm, y’all can have it. Y’all will never see me at another event. I’m gonna sit my ass right here, where it’s free.”
Continuing in the caption, she quipped: “I will be staying inside for the foreseeable future.
“On another note, also kinda wack when they double or triple the price because of your name. This didn’t happen this time but it has before,” Biles claimed, clarifying that her “intention isn’t to bash anyone, everyone I work with/have worked with is LOVELY! I’m just curious if this is normal.”

Throughout her decades-long career, Biles has earned 11 Olympic medals: seven gold, two silver and two bronze. She has competed in three Olympic Games, including the 2016 Rio, 2020 Tokyo and 2024 Paris Games. It remains unknown whether she will compete in the 2028 LA Games.
“I’m at a point in my career where I’m humble enough to know when to be done,” she told Sports Illustrated in January 2025. “If you go back, you’ll be greedy. Those are the consequences. But that’s also your decision to decide.”
In 2023, Biles married NFL player Jonathan Owens, 30, who plays for the Indianapolis Colts. She said her role as wife could impact the decision as her priorities shift.
“What sacrifices would be made if I go back now?” she continued. “When you’re younger, it’s like, prom, college. Now it’s like, starting a family, being away from my husband. What’s really worth it?”
Although she still has time to decide, Biles admitted she doesn’t know the answer, saying the full impact of her legacy hasn’t hit her yet.
“I don’t think the reality has set in of what I’ve exactly done in the sport,” she said. “I can see it, and I hear it from people, and I see a glimpse of it, but the full magnitude I don’t think I’ve realized just yet.”
