An active shooter was reported Friday morning in the area of Business 20 and Eisenhower Drive, according to the City of Midland, Texas.
Officials said multiple law enforcement agencies were on scene, and the public was urged to avoid Eisenhower Drive, West Wall Street and Midkiff Road. The city told local news media that the suspect was believed to be barricaded inside a building in Midland.
The Texas Department of Transportation said Business 20 between Loop 250 and Midland Drive was closed due to the law enforcement presence.
