Anne Hathaway took control of the red carpet while at the premiere of her latest film.
While posing with the cast of her new film, “Verity,” the 43-year-old actress calmly instructed photographers on how she planned on posing for their photos, in order to get the best shot possible.
In videos from the red carpet, Hathaway is heard telling the photographers where she will be looking and when, and tells the whole cast to follow suit.
The video from the premiere went viral on social media, with many fans praising her ability to get the photo taken efficiently.

“Anne saw the group photo drifting and took the wheel immediately,” one X user wrote, while another added, “She really said fine ill do it myself and honestly thats the energy every group photo needs.”
Another fan took to the comments section on Facebook, writing, “Queen of Genovia knows best,” with a fourth fan adding, “She’s like “this dress and my ankles have a TIME LIMIT. let’s make this EFFICIENT!!!”
Hathaway showed off her baby bump in a figure-hugging black mermaid gown designed by Prabal Gurung, which featured sequins, beading and a long sheer cape.

This isn’t the first time Hathaway has been recorded telling photographers what to do. A video of her greeting fans and paparazzi outside Valentino’s fall 2022 show in Italy by telling them to “calma” went viral and became an audio trend, something Hathaway didn’t expect.

“I remember that particular time, we were coming out of the pandemic so we were all feeling a little fragile,” she told W Magazine in February 2024 about the viral video. “Like I said, so many of my fans learned about me when they were children. So their excitement comes from a pure place. I want them to know, I’m excited too. I feel like, if we can be calm in meeting each other, we’ll both be able to connect that much more significantly.”
Hathaway is currently pregnant with her third child with her husband, Adam Shulman. The two tied the knot in September 2012 and share two sons; Jonathan and Jack.
The “Princess Diaries” star announced her third pregnancy on Instagram, in June, and debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the world premiere of “The Odyssey” in London, England in July.
Her latest film, “Verity,” which she stars in alongside Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett, is the fifth feature film the actress starred in this year. Her other films this year include “The End of Oak Street,” “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” “The Odyssey” and “Mother Mary.”

“It’s exciting, but it’s not like I planned it this way,” she told The New Indian Express in August. “The five films are the proceeds of more than three years of work. It just so happens they are all out this year. Years ago, I would probably have been pretty stressed about that, but now I’m not. It’s fun to be here talking about films that I am so proud of.”
