Starbucks’ holiday menu is back today — but without a fan-favorite flavor.
The coffee chain has introduced new tiramisu-flavored beverages this year while bringing back the Caramel Brulée Latte, Iced Sugar Cookie Latte and Peppermint Mocha, among others.
But notably absent from the line up are the Chestnut Praline-flavored drinks, prompting fan outrage.
“No Chestnut praline?? Unbelievable,” one angry customer wrote on X while another demanded that Starbucks “explain how tiramisu is more of a holiday flavor than Chestnut praline? Who asked for that? Last year you waited until December to drop it but yall can start PSLs in AUGUST? I know youve seen the backlash. Please fix it.”
“Starbucks doesn’t have chestnut praline on the holiday menu this year? cancel the holiday drinks i don’t want them anymore,” someone else chimed in as another said, “For the first time in a long time I am not excited the @Starbucks holiday drinks have arrived…. They didn’t bring Chestnut Praline back. So disappointed.”

“WHERE IS THE CHESTNUT PRALINE LATTE !? I wait all year for it,” another questioned.
“Chestnut praline was the best drink you ever had. why did you have to get rid of a good thing. do better,” someone else wrote in part.
The coffee chain’s website does tease that more “seasonal sips” will be “unwrapped” as the season progresses, so not all hope is lost. Last year, the chestnut praline latte returned later in the season along with eggnog-flavored drinks.
The Independent has contacted Starbucks for comment.
Even as the holiday menu remains uncertain, Starbucks has confirmed that red cup day will return November 17.
The annual tradition provides customers with a limited-edition reusable red cup with the purchase of any holiday beverage. This year’s design has not yet been revealed.

Starbucks also brought back seasonal merchandise offerings this year. Building on the viral popularity of the “Bearista” cold cups introduced last year, the coffee chain has released an entire themed line of merchandise this year.
A tumbler with a giant bow lid, ceramic mug, espresso mug and snowglobe set, glass ornament, plush bag charm, Owala water bottle, and double-wall glass mug all featuring the Bearista design are available for purchase as of November 5.
Then, on November 10, secret box Bearista cold cups will be available in certain stores. Each box will contain a mystery design.
The original Bearista cold cups will return to select stores December 1.
