Kaley Cuoco has become a mother for the second time, announcing that she and her fiancé, US actor Tommy Pelphrey, have welcomed a baby girl.
The couple’s new daughter, Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey, was born on October 12.
Cuoco, 40, is best known for playing Penny in the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, while Pelphrey, 44, starred in Ozark.
Their first child, Matilda, was born in March 2023.
News of the birth was shared in a heartfelt Instagram post, in which Cuoco said their family was now “officially complete” and posted a string of photographs of the newborn.
She said: “There are no words to describe this feeling once again. What a blessing.
“We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo!
“Family officially complete. Time to bring Matilda’s baby home!
“Tommy Pelphrey life exploded the minute we met, and the gifts keep coming. I love you forever, girl daddy!”
Cuoco also posted an Instagram story of Matilda, captioned: “Someone waiting at home for us!”
Among the celebrity friends congratulating the couple in the comment section was Twilight actor Taylor Lautner, who welcomed his first child just weeks earlier.
The pregnancy was revealed by Cuoco in June, when she shared a carousel of photographs including the couple and their daughter with a gender reveal cake showing pink sponge inside.
Other snaps in the carousel showed Cuoco baring her baby bump, while a video clip showed Pelphrey watching a 3D ultrasound.
Her engagement to Pelphrey was announced in August 2024, when she posted a selfie of the pair with her hand raised to show off her new ring.
Before The Big Bang Theory, which ran from 2007 to 2019, Cuoco played Bridget Hennessy in the sitcom 8 Simple Rules.
More recently she has moved into drama, starring in the thriller The Flight Attendant and the true crime series Based On A True Story.
