The Kardashian-West kids are outnumbered by their nannies.
Kim Kardashian shares her four children — North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven — with her ex-husband Kanye West.
In a new interview, the reality star told The Sunday Times Style magazine she has five nannies who work on rotation to help look after her children.
The billionaire Skims founder explained that although one nanny is always on duty, Kardashian is the one who drops her kids off and picks them up from school each day — and that they all have dinner together every night.
“I think I am an intermediate-strict parent,” Kardashian, 45, told the magazine. “I’m extremely patient and loving. I still have a kid sleep in my bed when they want. I read books with the kids every night.”
The reality TV star said that she takes it upon herself to discuss wealth and privilege with her children.
“It’s something I talk to my kids about constantly, about hard work, never taking things for granted, always having gratitude,” she said. “I lead by example. I’m really open with them about my work, all of the hard work that I put into my law studies, and they’re proud. I think that you can have a big life and still have that spirit in you. But it is more challenging.”
Kardashian spoke briefly in the interview about how she co-parents with 49-year-old West, to whom she was married from 2014 to 2022, when it comes to North’s solo music career.
“That is something that her dad and I have better communication about,” Kardashian said. “We make sure we’re aligned and that she’s in projects that we both approve.”
Kardashian and West have had a publicly turbulent co-parenting relationship since the businesswoman filed for divorce in 2021.
In October 2025, Kardashian said during her interview on Call Her Daddy that sharing custody with the famous rapper has been “a lot of work.”
“It’s not easy, but I raise the kids full time,” she said on the podcast. “They live with me. I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their dad. He knows that. I push for it all the time. But I also protect them when it’s time for that… it’s a lot of work.”
She added: “The one thing that gets me is that there’s this narrative that I keep the kids…away from him. I never once [have] done that.”
