I’m supposed to believe Tom Brady is 48 years old.
Apparently, spitting in the face of Father Time by playing in the NFL at 45 wasn’t enough for the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback. Brady is even busier and more ubiquitous in retirement.
He’s in the booth alongside Kevin Burkhardt, FOX’s No. 1 NFL broadcast team. He’s part of the Las Vegas Raiders’ ownership brass. He’s evading tacklers and throwing dimes in the inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic. He’s starring in Netflix’s “The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady,” and then exacting his revenge by roasting Kevin Hart.
And now, Tom Brady is a model.
Brady made his runway modeling debut by walking in Gucci’s cruise show in New York City’s Times Square on Saturday night, as seen below.
According to Vogue, it was the first resort show for Gucci artistic director Demna, and the unconventional Times Square location was kept under wraps until showtime.
“To do something that felt real to New York, I wanted to show this collection on the kind of people you might pass on the street,” Demna said in his show notes, per ELLE. “Individuals with their own way of wearing clothes, a plurality of styles that intersect like the streets of the city.”
Other stars in attendance included Cindy Crawford, Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, Shawn Mendes, and Zhang Linghe, with Crawford and Hilton walking in the show.
Brady was dressed in head-to-toe black leather, and while I’m all for the NFL GOAT trying out new arenas, his strut was not exactly All-Pro level. Knowing Brady, he will walk in as many high-fashion shows as necessary to become the best model who ever walked.
