Trump seeks to split Lebanon talks from war on Iran negotiations

US President Donald Trump says he wants to keep talks on the conflict in Lebanon separate from negotiations over the war between the US and Iran. Trump has been pressing Israel to halt its attacks on Lebanon, but the bombardment in the south has continued, undermining a potential deal with Iran which insists the two tracks are inseparable.
